Information for Community Housing Tenants

Your home is still owned by Housing NSW but St George Community Housing is now managing your home on behalf of Newleaf Communities.
There is no need for you to sign a new lease at this time.
All your rights as a community housing tenant will be maintained and the usual Housing NSW policies will apply.
Your rent won't change unless your circumstances change, although there may be some change if you are on market rent.
St George Community Housing will conduct regular rent reviews in line with Housing NSW's policies.
All Newleaf Communities services are operating from one office in Bonnyrigg so we can respond promptly to your needs and concerns.
St George Community Housing can offer tenants extra benefits:
- Access to their tenant rental incentive scheme.
- Access to their education bursary scheme.
- An opportunity to become a member of the organisation and have a say in how the organisation is run.
Your new home will be allocated based on Housing NSW policies including any special needs you have.
Newleaf Communities, which includes St George Community Housing, is responsible for tenancy management and maintenance of homes and some facilities in Bonnyrigg Living Communities Area. Management of community housing was transferred from the Housing NSW in October 2007.
